What's new

What we'd publish, in their words

Quiz night is back on Thursdays. Teams of up to six, a tenner a table, first question at eight. Winner takes the pot.

Have a go. The businesses are made up; the way it works is not.

How it works

Three steps, and only one of them is yours.

1

We draft it

Tell us what's changed: a new menu, a quiz night, a price, your Christmas hours. We write it the way you'd say it, from the facts you give us. We don't invent anything.

2

You approve it

The draft waits for you. Read it on your phone, change a word if you like, press approve. Nothing goes out without your say-so. That's the whole point.

3

It's live

About 30 seconds later it's on your website. Not next week, not after an email chain. The site is fast, hosted for you, and watched around the clock.

The longer version, including what happens to your old website, your domain and your Google listing.

Who it's for

Any business whose website is always slightly behind.

Pubs and cafés first, because that's where we started: menus, what's on, offers, Christmas. The same service runs for trades, salons, musicians and venues, tutors and estate agents.

  • Pubs, restaurants and cafés. Events, menus, offers, live sport, the Christmas page that switches itself off in January.
  • Tradespeople. Areas covered, seasonal offers, the hours over the holidays, a page for each town you work in.
  • Salons and clinics. Price lists, new staff, late nights, offers. Your booking system stays exactly where it is.
  • Musicians and venues. Send us the gig and it's on the site the same day.

Already have a website?

We can take over almost any website.

Paste your address and in about 20 seconds you'll see what's out of date on it, what it runs on, how fast it is, and roughly what it would cost us to take it on. Booking and shop systems you already use stay and get embedded.

Check your website
What the check tells you
  • Whether we can take it over, and any notes
  • What's out of date right now, quoted from the page
  • The platform it runs on and the booking or shop tools we'd keep
  • How fast it loads
  • A rough one-off and monthly price from our price list

Nothing about your site is kept unless you ask us to send you the result.

What it costs

Published prices. No hosting bill, ever.

Hosting is included when we build or take over your site. Prices are per site, exclusive of VAT, monthly rolling.

Who's behind it

I'm Liam. I do the writing. You keep the say-so.

I'm a consultant who builds and runs small software for businesses, and I kept meeting the same quiet problem: a website with last year's hours on it, an event that already happened, a job that never makes it to the top of the pile. So I do that part.

You set it up yourself, online. There are two moments where you'll hear from me as a person: when we take over your domain, and when your Google listing and the site go live. The rest shouldn't need anyone. If something does, I reply within 24 hours on working days.

Dispatch CM is run by Cordrey Consulting. About the consultancy.
